UNRWA community and camp services officer leads the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in Jalazone Refugee Camp

Almost exactly one year since the first outbreak of the pandemic, UNRWA today commemorates International Women’s Day under the theme “Women in Leadership: Achieving an Equal Future in a COVID-19 World”, honouring our female staff in response to the COVID-19 crisis.  Manar Bsharat, the Community and Camp Services Officer in Jalazone Palestine refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, is one of thousands of UNRWA female staff who have stepped up and made tremendous contributions to their community.
