Promoting Organic Farming in Gaza - Vermi Land and Organic Kingdom
٢٦ سبتمبر ٢٠٢١
The first project, Vermi-land, transforms organic waste into compost that is rich in hormones, bacteria, and enzymes to accelerate the growth of plants, while the second project is based on recycling and producing organic protein using the black soldier fly. Brothers Mohsen and Mohammed Ahmed benefited from the first and second phases of the START project, which is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation through UNDP, in partnership with UCAS Technology Incubator in the Gaza Strip. The Vermi-land and Organic Kingdom initiatives were incubated along with tens of projects that support job creation and entrepreneurship in Gaza.
